Casa Lella is like a grand old lady. She is large and full of aging beauty, with lots of fascinating aspects of her personality and form. She has obviously received a lot of tender loving care! The location in town is very central and everything walkable. The views from the gallery upstairs are superb. The three courtyards with varying patches of sun and shade are especially inviting with the day beds, and the pool is the antidote to too much sun and perfect for a cool dip before bedtime. We loved the magnificent front door, the high ceilings, the little balconies, the cool tiled floors and the new wooden floors as well as the breezy corridor along the bedrooms. All dining tables in courtyards and kitchen were well used by us, and the kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. We dipped into some of the many books and learned about art and Andalusia. I would love to return.

We had a wonderful holiday here… The house is utterly BEAUTIFUL. Tasteful art, textiles and features everywhere. Really quirky and unique. Fun to stay in. The house is well equipped, the kitchen was so much fun to cook in. The weather was lovely and there are two courtyards which are both sunny and shady at different parts of the day. Perfect with a little one!
We have a 6 month old and Anette provided a cot / high chair / baby bath / toys. Our son loved staying here and slept really well in the cot which was really important to us… I thoroughly recommend this excellent air b&b!

For those considering other towns… Velez-Malaga is an authentic, friendly Spanish town with many food, nightlife, and shopping amenities. The picturesque town is very walkable and has a number of attractions. That said, it’s also very close to beaches and touristy destinations making it an excellent place to launch day trips along the Andalucian coast.

If you are reading this review, do not hesitate another moment to book the house! The house is truly amazing and is beyond words. Great layout, beautifully decorated with fabulous art throughout. It is such a comfortable place that it is difficult to describe! I think my favourite part of the house is the courtyard…no, maybe the kitchen… :o) We were given great suggestions for dinner, tapas and day trips and even arranged for a guide to take us to a local Flamenco show which was fantastic!

We were 3 generations, 3 children and 6 adults, who spent a week the lovely house in Velez. The 3 floor house Is perfect for a big group of people. We loved the big kitchen/living room, the patios, the different bedrooms, the mix of Spanish and Scandinavian styles. It is what I would call a 'feel good' house. And I lost my heart to Velez. We spent quite some time walking the streets of Velez, and it took us a couple of days to find our way around town, part of the fun! The host was extremely helpful throughout the whole period, she helped with transport, she recommended a great restaurant where we celebrated my birthday, she suggested a small hotel round the corner for my sister and husband, who preferred the slightly more quiet solution (without my grandchildren ;o).

We were 10 Danish adult friends spending 5 perfect days in september 2016, at Anettes lovely place i Vélez-Málaga. The house is even nicer than shown on the Airbnb pages. Very clean, spacey and well furnished with lots of fine paintings and art. We loved the three patios, where we spend almost all the time when at home.
Vélez-Málaga is a very nice and quiet town with good restaurants and very friendly people. Since it was rather hot while we were visiting, we spend daytime at the beach in Torre del Mar. Well kept, clean beaches, very nice water and fine, cheap beach restaurants. We all highly recommend a stay at Casa Lella, an will definitely be back.

For 6 friends going to Andalucia for skiing, swimming, and dining this was just the perfect place to stay. Welcome to your own little castle! Spacious, beautiful, clean, charming ... It's hard to describe how impressed we were with this place. All six had their own room, three bathrooms ensured that there was never a line for showering or brushing ups, the kitchen facilities were huge and well equipped, and we never got around to using more than two of the three outdoor areas; all flourishing with fresh herbs and flowers… Warmly recommended!

Kennt Ihr dieses Gefühl, anzukommen, sich sofort zu Hause zu fühlen? Ein warmherziger Empfang von der liebenswerten Dame des Hauses, Anette, aufmerksam, achtsam, freundlich, positiv. All diese Eigenschaften spiegeln sich im Ambiente Ihres wunderbaren Stadthauses wieder. Jeder Raum mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, entweder mit Blick auf eine alte Kirche oder Richtung Patio. Die ist Küche perfekt ausgestattet, um dort ein zauberhaftes Mahl zu kreieren und um dann in einem der Patios zu essen! Obwohl .... es gibt auch so viele Möglichkteiten, die phänomenale andalusische Küche zu testen in der Umgebung! Das darf dann jeder für sich entscheiden! Es war für mich mehr als nur Urlaub, es war so in etwa wie " hier lebe ich mittendrin" ... All diese alten Gebäude und die kleinen Gassen drumherum gaben mir ein Gefühl von Dazugehörigkeit! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Die Nähe zum Meer, zu Malaga, zu ganz vielen authentischen Bergdörfern, aber vor allem die herzliche Art der Gastgeberin und dieses wundervolle Haus möchten mich noch einmal dort verweilen lassen!

Die Unterkunft ist stilvoll, gepflegt und sehr gut ausgestattet, sodass sie zum Verweilen und einem gemeinsamen Essen im Haus einlädt. Die Fotos unterschätzen die Großzügigkeit der Unterkunft, nach meiner Meinung. Weiterhin sind die Zimmer liebevoll eingerichtet und alle Kleinigkeiten wie Geschirr perfekt auf die Einrichtung und deren Stil abgestimmt. Mit drei Bädern und einer Gästetoilette ist die Unterkunft für bis zu 12 Personen perfekt. Uns hat allgemein begeistert, dass die Unterkunft landestypisch war und dennoch modern. Außerdem war Anette eine perfekte Gastgeberin, die uns bei Fragen schnell antwortete und gute Tipps geben konnte...Daher kann ich in Vertretung meiner gesamten Gruppe 5 Sterne an die Unterkunft geben!
